Dear Church Family,
Greetings in Christ’s wonderful name! It’s missions’ month again and time to seek the Lord for what He will have you do for your faith promise for the year 2008.
No man knows the exact time the Lord will return, but it is clear as we observe the events of our day that His coming is nearer than it has ever been. Jesus said, “We must work the works of Him who sent Me, as long as it is day; night is coming, when no man can work.” (John 9:4) Time is passing quickly and the work of missions and evangelism is our primary reason for being. Our missions’ giving is an important and powerful means by which we can participate in the “Great Commission” to go into all the world and preach the Gospel.
It has been our tradition in the past to have special missionary speakers, an annual banquet and receive new faith promises for the coming year. I urge you to participate with renewed joy and enthusiasm as the following events approach.

Please prayerfully consider your faith promise for this coming year by asking the Lord what He would have you give for the sake of the Kingdom. The more we give the more missionaries we are able to support. The Apostle Paul said, “…And he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.” (II Corinthians 9:6b)
Yours for the harvest,
Pastor Dan
